Julien Carralero Appointed General Manager
From Atlanta, to Barcelona, Hawaii, San Francisco, New York and most recently Paris, Julien Carralero’s illustrious career in the hospitality industry now takes him to Budapest, Hungary.
“We are delighted that Julien Carralero has accepted this new challenge in this cornerstone European destination,” said Wolf Hengst, President Worldwide Hotel Operations, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Having led our landmark hotel in Paris to great success, Carralero brings to Budapest a seasoned perspective on luxury and service.”
Carralero graduated from the Hotel School of Lausanne in 1982. During the course of his 20-year career, he has worked at prominent hotels around the world. His career with Four Seasons began in Carlsbad, California as Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Resort Aviara. More recently he was a key member of the team which brought Four Seasons management to the legendary George V in Paris.
“It is exciting to be part of Four Seasons further expansion in the European market,” said Carralero. “Situated in Gresham Palace, a cultural and architectural landmark, our first Hotel in Budapest will serve as a stunning centre-piece to this fascinating destination.”
Carralero was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. He and his wife Kim have three children; Pamela, Marco and Maria Christina.
